The Hubble Ultra-Deep Field image of 2004, containing roughly 10,000 individual galaxies, some of which may be nearly as old as the Big Bang. Perhaps in any one of them there might be at least one planet where life evolved and things went better for it than seem to be the case here. But then again, we will probably never get to know.
