Last Quarter: No post this week

Hello. It's Friday, but for the first time ever I have to apologize that there will be no actual newsletter release today. I already knew this would be a crowded day, but something else came up this morning; I'm still assessing the exact scope of the problem but I think it wisest that I avoid counting on any time to write before the usual time that I tend to publish. And however this day turns out, I will not feel free to write here this weekend, either.

I feel bad about this rare lapse, but I think my hands are tied. My intended theme for the week will have to wait for some future Last Quarter if I feel so motivated. May you have a good weekend yourselves, and I will return next Friday for a critique of ascetic living; the week after that I'll be writing for paid subscribers on the realm of herbalism some call "the poison path."
